Hiking trail 9 | The Olive Museum and the Archaeological Museum of Palaeopolis
Hiking trail 9 is part of the “Fardia Strata” that means wide road. It is one of the most significant and most important routes on the island. It connects the central, the eastern, the northern and the western Andros, crossing the Mountain Petalos’ perimeter. It passes through the Strapourgies, Ano Pitrofo, Palaiopoli and Ano Aprovato. It is worth visiting the Olive Museum in Pitrofos, the archaeological site and museum of Palaeopolis.
